Primary Responsibilities and Requirements

The Business Development Manager, China will be responsible for securing new, renewal and account extension business for the company. He will also support the Business Development Director, Asia Pacific in her Business Development capacity. This includes prospecting and managing clients, participating in and closing RFQ’s and RFP’s for any potential business in China.

Specific Responsibilities and Functional Requirements

o Cold calling, prospecting and renewal of new and existing clients

o Create proposals and define project tasks, revising as appropriate to meet the clients’ changing needs and requirements

o Execute clients’ work plans, facilitating the definition of project scope, goals and deliverables for all sales and marketing related proposals and tenders

o Works with the Operations Manager to ensure appropriate resources and processes are identified and in place to complete the clients’ assignment successfully

o Ensures any service escalations are acknowledged and recovery plans are communicated to the client within 24 hours

o Contribute pro-actively, any suggestions to develop best practices and tools for sales execution in consultation with the Business Development Director, Asia Pacific.

Requirements:

o Must have related experiences in relocation and mobility business

o Good command of English

o Local Chinese male preferred

o skills to explore new clients and maintain the existing ones

o self-motivated

o 8 years + related  experiences

Reporting To:  Country Manager, China

Functional Reporting To:   Business Development Director, Asia Pacific
